From age 9, I knew I wanted to be a photographer. Using my mom’s Canon A1, I would wander the house and yard, taking pictures of everything but always trying to shoot from a unique perspective.
I love people, and I love sharing my photos with them. I want those who see my work to feel happy and see things they have never noticed.

My husband bought me a Nikon and there was no stopping me. I get out and walk the neighborhood, snapping pictures of the flowers, bees, and anything I think I can turn into a captured moment in time. I cannot drive, so being able to travel and take photos outside my neighborhood is difficult. My husband drives me to places whenever we can go and patiently helps and waits for me while I wander around and enjoy all the new subjects to snap pictures of.

I attended a community college, and after years of class and field work, I earned my Certificate of Achievement in Photography. I am very proud of it. I want to earn an AA next.
When I take a photo, I am able to share what I see with the world and that makes me happy
